Dear Young Scientist,

Greeting from Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy!

Pandemic of Covid-19 has completely changed the educational landscape and forced many universities to close their doors. Moreover, there are also a difficulty to maintain research performance especially laboratory experimental as well as disseminating research results in offline conferences.

We are pleased to announce the 1st AASP Young Scientist Conference 2020 which be held as virtual conference. It is our honor to invite young scientists and graduate students from all Asian countries for participation.

Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP) is a platform established in April 2001 for accelerating cooperative advancement of pharmacy education as well as research amongst pharmacy schools in Asia, and the AASP Young Scientist Conference aims to facilitates young scientist and graduate students to disseminate their research findings and experiences.

The 1st AASP Young Scientist Conference will be hosted by Association of Indonesian Pharmacy Higher Education (AIPHE = APTFI, Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Farmasi Indonesia) on 11-13 December 2020. Distinguished speakers will be invited from Asian countries and other continents to share their knowledge and experiences. The AASP Young Scientist Conference will offer a valuable opportunity for interaction and networking among young academia/ scientist and students from the different institutions in Asia.

We cordially invite young scientist/lecturers, students as well as everyone who interested in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences as well as other related fields to join the conference.

Conference programs consist of plenary lectures, invited lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations.

We look forward to seeing you at the 1st AASP Young Scientist Conference.

GUIDANCE FOR PRESENTATION

Plenary Lecture/Invited Lecture/Oral Presentation

Time allocation for speakers:

  • plenary speaker (40 min: 35 min presentation + 5 min Q/A)
  • invited speaker (25 min: 20 min presentation + 5 min Q/A)
  • oral presenter (10 min: 8 min presentation + 2 min Q/A)


For your presentation, there are 2 alternatives:

(1) you make a life presentation from your laptop/computer or you send your PPT (powerpoint) file to organizing committee and then our team will help you to operate it on the schedule of your presentation time,

(2) you upload or send a recorded presentation video, and we will broadcast it on the schedule of your presentation time. However we hope you still attend online on your schedule because we will have Q/A.

POSTER PRESENTATION

Please use the template below to make (design) your poster presentation (1 slide powerpoint, widescreen/33.867cm x 19.05 cm, landscape). The main body of the poster is flexible, but the content usually consists of introduction, method, result, discussion (or results and discussion), conclusion, and references. The content should be concise.

Add your presentation number (PPxxx) at the right bottom of PPT.

Please record your explanation of poster content not more than 3 (three) minutes. You may record your voice in the PPT file using the menu of PPT: Slide Show--Record Slide-Record from Current Slide.

Please send your poster 2 (two) days before 11 December 2020.
